DEAD SEA DYING is an ongoing 3D film and video project , initiated by Highlight Films in Israel. We have been filming the Dead Sea in 2D and 3D from all its sides in the last five years. Each time we go on location, we see that the water level is lower. The Dead Sea is shrinking, and the consequences are harsh: The Dead Sea is a source of life for millions worldwide, a source of health to other millions, and it played an important issue in the history of all religions in the Middle East.
The current crisis can be solved, and natural cycles can once again be natural. Our premise is that the developing crisis of the Dead Sea was caused by people, and should be solved by people.
We offer a home for people who share our beliefs and ideas. We have initiaited the TV / Web documentary project “Dead Sea Dying”. It involves local filmmakers – Jordanians, Palestinians and Israelis, as well as filmmakers from other places who would like to get involved.
